A balloon release can be spectacular and many families choose to release balloons into the sky as a remembrance and celebration of their loved one, as it is more apparent that families and friends celebrate their loved ones life rather than focusing on their departure.

With a balloon release you select the colour/s and you can even choose a small message to be attached to the balloon, whether it simply says “you’ll be missed” or a favourite phrase to lighten the atmosphere.

Latex balloons are 100% biodegradable, being a natural product from the sap of the Haevae Brasilienis tree.

   During the balloon release the majority of balloons will raise to an altitude of approximately  5 miles, at that altitude the balloon will either freeze and become brittle or explode due to decreased air pressure and the helium exploding. This means that each balloon is reduced to pieces of natural rubber about the size of a penny which fall back to earth where they finish decomposing naturally. Studies have shown that latex balloons ingested by animals pass through the digestive system.

  There are no biodegradable ribbons available, so the balloons will

be tied so you can simply slide the balloon off the ribbon.
